Overtime on Site is a collagraph print composed of layers of billboard paper that have been torn and naturally weathered over time. When printed in intaglio, remnants of this degradation are revealed and embossed into the paper, allowing the material’s history to surface in an almost landscape-like form.

The paper itself is recovered from the street, near a bus stop where people wait day and night, rain or shine. Many are workers commuting to the places where they make their living. These environments seem to carry the heaviness of everyday life: the quiet dread of the working week, experienced outdoors in the cold and darkness.
